Electric
Motor Testing
TQC have specialist expertise in the design and manufacture
of electric motor test equipment and stator winding testing.
Equipment has been developed in conjunction
with several manufacturers to maximise the benefits of automatic
motor testing systems. Sophisticated resistance, voltage,
current, power, frequency, inductance and capacitance instrumentation
can all be provided as part of either semi or fully automatic test
equipment. This expertise can be combined with TQC's automatic
and robot assembly capability to enable complete turnkey assembly
and electrical test machine systems to be produced to suit your
specific requirements.
The result is a service to industry, which can
offer complete quality assurance testing using the most modern technology
and test equipment. TQC has an enviable reputation for providing
both quality equipment and superb back-up.
Equipment can be provided for AC or DC motor
testing, with the test procedure and sequence tailored to your specific
requirements.
Motor can be tested either 'on-load' or 'off-load'.
On-load testing may use various different loading methods,
eg 'rope' brakes or other friction brakes, particle clutch, fluid
or electric dynamometers.
Test parameters can normally be entered against
a given product part number and results used for quality analysis.
